I didn't see one of these started for this month yet, so I figured I'd go ahead and make one. Good luck to everyone sending theirs in this month!

I'm the USC living abroad with my wife in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I'm from State College, PA and she is from the Philipines. We have been together for 7+ years but were not able to marry until this past March 10th. We have a 2.5yr old son together and she is now 3 weeks pregnant. She has a 9yr old son from a previous marriage.

We mailed I-130's for her and my new stepson on March 25th. I recieved the USCIS Acceptance Email on April 4th. I then received hard copies of the NOA 1 on April 10th with a priority date of April 1st.

Let's hope for a speedy process for everyone!

I'm the beneficiary. I'm from the UK and I live with my husband in Dubai. We sent our packet at the very end of March (from Nepal, where we were on holiday) and the package was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on the 8th April. We got married in the UK just after Christmas and we've been together for 2 years.

Here's hoping it'll be a nice easy process for all of us!

Im the USC and I sent out an I130 for my stepson in Canada. Hoping to get an expedite as my husbands case has an interview date set for May 30th. I was misinformed at an Infopass apt I had back in February......so keeping fingers and toes crossed :)

Oh....sent in the I-130 April 19th and had it sent via next day service. They signed for it on April 20th and I am still waiting on a receipt number

Filed 2 weeks ago, just received the NOA1 on Saturday. Husband is in Germany, and we're crossing our fingers that maybe we'll luck out and have him here by the end of 2013.

Anyone know anything about the average time between NOA1 and NOA2? Most of the timeline stuff I can find is once your application has been transferred to the NVC (that is after the NOA2). But it seems like the time between NOA1 and NOA2 is really variable.

Good luck to all!

ROUND 1:

29 Aug 2011 - Started dating

05 Oct 2012 - SO's J-1 visa expires, returns to Germany

21 Dec 2012 - Engaged in Germany
21 Mar 2013 - Married in US
26 Mar 2013 - Husband returns to Germany (again)

12 Apr 2013 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

19 Apr 2013 - NOA1 received (notice date 4/16/2013)

11 Dec 2013 - NOA2
16 Dec 2013 - Hard copy NOA2 received
22 Jan 2014 - Received Case # and IIN from NVC - we're in the system!

21 Mar 2014 - CASE COMPLETE!! (received info by calling NVC on 24 March)

06 May 2014 - interview date

16 May 2014 - POE

ROUND 2: I-751 process - just getting started!

18 Apr 2016 - I-751 packet sent to California Service Center

28 Apr 2016 - money order cashed

02 May 2016 - NOA1 received - phew!

16 May 2016 - biometrics appt

Yes it does vary. You also have to consider if there are anything missing from your documents then you will recieve RFE. That will lengthen the process. Ive read of two recent cases of less than 60 days from NOA1 - NOA2. Hope we are all on the same boat.

Thanks, kidneoflip.

We decided to get married while he was visiting Chicago in March, and filed after he went back to Germany. Because we have plenty of Facebook/email documentation of our 1.5-year relationship, and no prior marriages/children, and we got married in the US, I'm hoping we won't have to deal with too many RFEs - I did submit a joint bank statement along with the initial filing just in case. But we're doing all of this without a lawyer so our money can go towards the fees and saving up for a family wedding, so I'm hoping we got all the info right!

I know what you mean. I reread my petition docs (130 & g329) form numerous times to look for errors and anything missing. So Im sure that should be bulletproof. All the supporting documents are there too and then some like pictures of us, plane tickets traveling together etc. At least your husband is a German citizen and he can travel here to visit. Not all nationalities have that privilege :(. So I have to wait to get back to my wife until the petiton is sent to Manila. Hopegully thats in August or September :)

Do I read your timeline properly? You already have a biometrics appt? Is that normal?
