Yeah Niki! Good to see another Oct filer done!

Ugh, still no one has touched my documents yet...they better not RFE me for my 2012 tax returns as well because my stuff has been at the NVC for 8 days already!!

They didn't for us. We only included 2011, 2010 and 2009.

2010 for hubs was a little sparse because he was deployed to Iraq for 6 months and your income isn't taxed at that point. 2011 was fine and he's already made more in 2013 than he did in 2012, but he applied for an extension for 2012 taxes. A copy of which I'll take with me to the interview.

True, but they started working on your documents already=(

I'am just hoping the kind soul who eventually starts working on mine realizes that my stuff has arrived before April 15th so I should be safe too if that is indeed the case!

I have my 2012 anyways and my co-sponsor(mother) is doing hers now as well so I will have it by the interview atleast=)

9/29/06 - Started dating my husband (LDR For 5 years after 6/07)
8/22/12 - Married in Japan
10/10/12 - I-130 Sent (Japan Post)
10/12/12 - Received at Chicago Lock Box
10/15/12 - NOA1(no email, had to call and find out and recieved the hard copy 10/22/12) case at NBC
12/14/12 - NOA2(no email once again,randomly checked it online)
01/07/13 - NVC Case Received
01/25/13 - Case Number assigned and AOS fee billed(somehow NVC didn't write down the proper emails for my husband and I )
3/06/13 - AOS invoice paid!(more like the 4th,when they withdrew the money!)
3/04/13 - DS-3032 email sent
3/13/13 - DS-3032 replied to
3/14/13 - IV invoice billed
3/16/13 - IV invoice bill paid
3/19/13 - NVC withdrew my money(waiting for the PAID STATUS)
3/24/13 - IV invoice officially paid
4/03/13 - Sent AOS and IV (without PCC....doh!) package via next day mail
4/04/13 - AOS & IV Package received
4/16/13 - AOS accepted(found out by phone april 17th)
4/17/13 - NVC wants PCC(found out via phone)CHECKLIST!
4/18/13 - Sent PCC with checklist (cover letter, etc) next day mail
4/19/13 - PCC delivered
4/30/13 - Case Complete(Lord, PLEASE!!! LET ME GET IT BY THE END OF APRIL!!) #### YEAH!
5/13/13- Interview date assigned & received Packet 4
5/16/13- Package left NVC for Tokyo(I assume it will get there in 3days)
5/20/13- Package delivered to Tokyo embassy
5/21/13- Medical

6/x/13- Visa received
7/9/13- MY Hubby is coming to good ole Houston, TX

If you're the petitioner, you can have your name changed without issues to the visa process. It's just easier on the beneficiary if they don't change names during the process. It can be done, yes, but it may complicate things.

Oh sweet. I'm taking his last name, so he doesn't have to do anything. Whew! Good news. :thumbs:

Still waiting to hear what they've decided to do with our NOA2. Hoping they will just accept their mistake and approve the case as it was sent in.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

I bet they give a little leeway in there knowing people often don't submit until the last day.

I'm right with you. As of this morning they have not started to review my papers. I have the 2012 tax papers now but I don't want to waste the time sending them. I'm hoping they wont ask for mine because the paper from my work shows how much I made last year and it's over the required amount.

12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

Hi everyone,

I reread the FAQ section just in case this question was already asked, but it wasn't so I need your help. I received the AOS invoice on April 11. I paid the fee that day via the website. I received a receipt from them about the payment. Today I was checking to make sure the fee now showed as paid as I wanted to send the AOS package off today. When I check the payment receipt now it says Payment Rejected and the AOS bill status says NOT PAID. In the FAQ I know it states to ignore a NOT PAID status but what about a rejected status? Help please!

2013 began CR1 process

Fast forward to:

2/24/16- Husband received 10 year green card

Starting the process over again for our daughter (IR2):

1/13/16 NOA1 from Potomac Service Center

4/5/16 NOA2!

4/7/16 Case sent to NVC

4/22/16 Received NVC Case and Invoice Numbers

4/22/16 Submitted DS-261

4/22/16 Invoice for AOS Received. Paid AOS Fee

4/25/16 AOS Fee shows as PAID

4/27/16 Invoice for IV Received. Paid IV Fee

4/29/16 IV Fee Shows as PAID

4/29/16 Submitted DS-260

5/6/16 Sent AOS and IV packages

5/9/16 AOS and IV packages received by NVC

5/9/16 Scan Date

6/10/16 Case Complete

It should say "In Process" If it says not paid, or rejected, you need to pay it again. The same thing happened to me when I paid the AOS fee on 4/11. I checked the following morning and it said not paid, I immediately paid it again, and it is still in process now.

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

I130 for Minor Child

7/26/12 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

7/30/12 - Priority date

3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

6/05/13 - INTERVIEW

It should say "In Process" If it says not paid, or rejected, you need to pay it again. The same thing happened to me when I paid the AOS fee on 4/11. I checked the following morning and it said not paid, I immediately paid it again, and it is still in process now.

What happened to your first payment? Had it not cleared your bank? Mine says PAID, but I know it had already cleared the bank and been posted.

I think you may mistype a digit of routing# or bank account# and that would trigger the reject payment. I would call NVC and explain to them see what they say and or if you have to do it over again or just wait. You don't want to damage your wallet twice just my 2 cents.

Just mailed by AOS right now (re-sent it bc I had a checklist). Keeping my fingers crossed that this time it'll be approved without any RFE/checklist! IV was sent almost 2 weeks ago and still under review. :whistle: Now the wait game... :unsure:

Hi Zamar, just curious if you already submitted your AOS and you're received a checklist (IE missing a documents...), they would asked you to resend the whole AOS package or just missing documents?. Thanks.
