Ok, so my AOS package was delivered yesterday, and I just sent off my IV package for delivery at noon tomorrow. :dance:

10/10/07 - I-129F sent to VSC

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

I130 for Minor Child

7/26/12 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

7/30/12 - Priority date

3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

6/05/13 - INTERVIEW

Since the IV and AOS were delivered to the NVC, my congressman liaison requested an expedite Friday. I requested she hold off until I sent the AOS and IV packets to ensure the complete packets will be forwarded to the consulate. She said she will follow up this Friday to find out. Crossing my fingers.

Good luck! You definitely deserve it for the wait you had to endure between USCIS and NVC!

Well yesterday I received an email saying that they have the IV package and it is being uploaded to our case file and Hubby got one this morning about the AOS. So hopefully we will have a case complete by the end of the week! When I called NVC last night, the guy said nothing had been reviewed yet. I work today and tomorrow, so I will call again Thursday. Unless I have this huge urge to call them sooner!

I say case complete by Friday ;)

Ok, I redid the AOS payment. It worked this time as the money has already left my account. Mailed off the AOS packet first thing this morning. Now just waiting for the IV bill to be invoiced. So thankful for all of you here at VJ who have helped me thus far!

2013 began CR1 process

Fast forward to:

2/24/16- Husband received 10 year green card

Starting the process over again for our daughter (IR2):

1/13/16 NOA1 from Potomac Service Center

4/5/16 NOA2!

4/7/16 Case sent to NVC

4/22/16 Received NVC Case and Invoice Numbers

4/22/16 Submitted DS-261

4/22/16 Invoice for AOS Received. Paid AOS Fee

4/25/16 AOS Fee shows as PAID

4/27/16 Invoice for IV Received. Paid IV Fee

4/29/16 IV Fee Shows as PAID

4/29/16 Submitted DS-260

5/6/16 Sent AOS and IV packages

5/9/16 AOS and IV packages received by NVC

5/9/16 Scan Date

6/10/16 Case Complete

8/8/16 Received Interview Date

9/20/16 Interview Date

Thanks Saylin. I hope to get through this stage really quickly to make up for the horrendous wait at USCIS. I couldn't have made any of the progress Ive made so far had it not been for this thread and all of your tips and shortcuts. Thank you so much for sticking around.

Salyin ,i called again , they guy said they didn't start reviewing it ... they told us twice they are reviewing it and twice they didn't review it and we have to wait 20 B days , what does this mean ?? any idea

Thanks Saylin. I hope to get through this stage really quickly to make up for the horrendous wait at USCIS. I couldn't have made any of the progress Ive made so far had it not been for this thread and all of your tips and shortcuts. Thank you so much for sticking around.

If everything's accepted, you can have a case complete by the end of next week ;) Get ready as you're almost done with NVC!

It means NVC has lost its marbles wacko.gif Just keep calling though! Once or twice a day.

Many they are not reviewing mine yet either.


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

NVC - 119 days NVC to Visa in hand
03/11/2013: NVC received (31 days from NOA2 at USCIS till received at NVC )
03/25/2013: NVC Case no. assigned
03/27/2013: Paid AOS fee (shows paid 3/29/13)
04/01/2013: AOS Sent
03/27/2013: Received IV Bill
03/27/2013: Paid IV Bill (shows paid 3/29/13)
04/01/2013: Sent IV Packet
04/02/2013:IV Packet Delivered
04/16/2013: Case Complete (37 days from received to case complete)
04/16/2013: Received Case Complete Email

05/13/2013: NVC status "In Transit"

051/20/2013: NVC status "Ready"
06/24/2013: Interview date - Orange card... wanted copy of USC passport

07/08/2013: Visa received in the mail

08/03/2013: POE

I emailed the NVC to see if they got my case yet but no response...think its time I should start calling?

08/13/2012: I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox from Jordan (Nahda Office)

08/21/2012: NOA1

8/21/2012 : NOA1 Hardcopy

8/28/2012 : 1-797C Action Transferred to NBC (Assuming sent to Atlanta Local office...but no telling)

O9/4/2012 : Last touched.

2/26/2013 : Infopass with Atlanta (confirmed file is there and no action yet. To be started in March)

03/18/2013 : 2nd Infopass (No review or processing of any stand-alone I-130s for 60-90 days. URGHHHHHHHHHH)

04/6/2013: NOA2 (228 days from NOA1)

NVC

05/10/13 USCIS Atlanta letter to me confirms this date as sent to NVC

05/20/13 NVC Received Case (Waiting on case number)
06/7/2013 NVC case number assinged
06/7/2013 Choice of agent complete now awaiting fees

Gave up tracking when I left overseas...but we are almost done biggrin.png!

Thats weird , hopefully they will start reviewing your packages today , did they appear on the system ( received it

) ... wishing they stick on one answer next time i call ,either they started reviewing or they accepted the package . i thought they will finish reviewing today and i was astonished wn the guy told me they didn't start yet grrrr

A few weeks after NOA2 but it's taking them about a month from NOA2 to give out case numbers. Sometimes longer depending on how often the local offices ship out petitions.

I emailed the NVC to see if they got my case yet but no response...think its time I should start calling?

Start calling about 3 times a week, for 2 weeks. Then bump it up to once a day until you get the case number.

It has been has been almost 35 days(5 weeks) since NoA2 and still no case number. So, I do not know why it is taking so longer.

I have called them over fifty times, and I have not lost hopes for humanity. :-)

I honestly dont think I will get a case number till a month after my NOA2...but I do want to make sure that Atlanta sent my file to the NVC and its just waiting for a case number.

Oh, that's right, you were approved from a local office. Before even bothering with calling NVC, you need to be calling USCIS every day to inquire on when they sent the case out. Only once you've heard from 5 (at the minimum) people at USCIS that your case has indeed been sent out should you call NVC.

Okay so call everyday and speak with a tier 2? Or will a tier 1 be able to tell me when/if it was sent out?
