I finished with NVC over a month ago but don't really want to leave this thread. I'll just hang out back here... unsure.gif

You're still at NVC though waiting for an interview date to be assigned!

I randomly checked online and I can do the DS-260 tonight! YAY!

39 days already from noa2 NVC didnt receieve our case yet :(

Have you called USCIS to inquire the status of your case? And were you approved at a local office? Many people who were approved at a local office have to wait a long time as it seems they only send cases to NVC in batches and not very often.

So FYI: on the DS-260 is it only asking me for MONTH/YEAR for the dates I have lived since age 16!!!

They changed it again? headbonk.gif When I initially filled it out, it was date/month/year, then they changed it to just month/year, then they reverted back. And now they're back to just month/year wacko.gif

2/24/16- Husband received 10 year green card

Starting the process over again for our daughter (IR2):

1/13/16 NOA1 from Potomac Service Center

4/5/16 NOA2!

4/7/16 Case sent to NVC

4/22/16 Received NVC Case and Invoice Numbers

4/22/16 Submitted DS-261

4/22/16 Invoice for AOS Received. Paid AOS Fee

4/25/16 AOS Fee shows as PAID

4/27/16 Invoice for IV Received. Paid IV Fee

4/29/16 IV Fee Shows as PAID

4/29/16 Submitted DS-260

5/6/16 Sent AOS and IV packages

5/9/16 AOS and IV packages received by NVC

5/9/16 Scan Date

They changed it again? headbonk.gif When I initially filled it out, it was date/month/year, then they changed it to just month/year, then they reverted back. And now they're back to just month/year wacko.gif

And I did not need to put in any other previous jobs. Just current occupation. It asked if I had another occupation but currently I don't. It didn't ask anything about school either. But i do have a degree...

can't print.. outta black ink.. ROFL!!! headbonk.gif

I know the DS-260 seemed a whole lot easier than I was worried about too.

Glad they changed it for us ;)

Entire IV package is submitted and emailed. YAY!!!

Hubs is going to get tax transcripts etc tomorrow so we should be able to get everything done asap.

My interview is in three days....feeling nervous.......I hope everything should be done smooth in the interview.....I missing my husband.....

I want to join with him soon.............I hope everybody vj members should get their visa soon and join with their loved ones.......

06th June 2013 : Reached USA

29th june 2013: Received conditional greencard...

Hopefully I get case complete this week... but then I am very worried as Algiers embassy seems understaffed and they have not been responsive at all, so maybe I should brace for a long interview scheduling :-(... I'll just take it one at a time.

I guess I can hang out here too...even though I paid off my bills in March, I won't be able to send out my stuff till Next week

*sighs* really disappointed about that, but here's hoping I can get a case complete by the end of April and have an interview by June

9/29/06 - Started dating my husband (LDR For 5 years after 6/07)
8/22/12 - Married in Japan
10/10/12 - I-130 Sent (Japan Post)
10/12/12 - Received at Chicago Lock Box
10/15/12 - NOA1(no email, had to call and find out and recieved the hard copy 10/22/12) case at NBC
12/14/12 - NOA2(no email once again,randomly checked it online)
01/07/13 - NVC Case Received
01/25/13 - Case Number assigned and AOS fee billed(somehow NVC didn't write down the proper emails for my husband and I )
3/06/13 - AOS invoice paid!(more like the 4th,when they withdrew the money!)
3/04/13 - DS-3032 email sent
3/13/13 - DS-3032 replied to
3/14/13 - IV invoice billed
3/16/13 - IV invoice bill paid
3/19/13 - NVC withdrew my money(waiting for the PAID STATUS)

I am still waiting on an interview date from my embassy.. can't believe it.. MY case of deemed completed on march 8... been 3 weeks and no updates....

I would call NVC and demand it be looked into, I think 3 weeks is way too long after case complete.
