Hello VJ friends

I just send out my I-601 WAIVER to Pheonix, Arizona Lockbox on the 27 of Feb and still nothing. I understand there is a wait of 4 months or so. If you have experience this B4 could you share it with me. I'm desperate to hear other opinions. I am not married yet, we filed under the K-1 visa he had his interview on Jan 7,2013 he was asked to send his waiver to Pheonix. I think my fiance is getting frustrated on all of this, he told me today that people have been telling him that we should of married first and that everything should of been easier. I don't know about that, but I just hope that we are doing the right thing and that everything will be FINE. Today someone told me **THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL** I just hope so. Thank you for reading my message and please if you could reply to it with your experience.

Yeah its a four month to five month wait :/ my four months will be on April 7th so I'm hoping next month I can finally go home... Well since its a 601 the waiting time is the same married or not I believe. If I were you I'd join emigrate2us.net, they have been helpful to me. If you already have your notification of action, you can use the LIN number to track your application online on uscis.gov, good luck!

Sorry its immigrate2us.net

The normal processing time for the I601 is 4 months. We have been waiting for more than 6 months. Our I601 was received 9/17/12. I was recently told by USCIS that they have a serious backlog but I should have a decision in the next few days.

I was subject to the ten year ban for unlawful presence, I was brought to the us as a baby :/ I have no criminal record though, married to a us soldier/ veteran for five years now so I'm hoping that will be good enough for an approval... And don't worry, its a very frustrating place to be, waiting... But hopefully it all gets resolved

Cambo fresh if I were you I'd get a lawyer... I do know if you have been deported you need to file a 212 along with a 601

Meljenn13 . I need you to read my story this is so funny a very similar situation here . Look , I was brought to the us as a teenager I was 13 years old, I married a marine who is now a veteran and not only that but your timeline and mine are very similar because I am on the four to five month wait. Isn't it that strange? My first interview was oct 5 2012 , waiver appt. oct 29 2012 and then I got a referral for gov check on dec 20 2012 (was dated dec13 2012) and still waiting . Oh by the way I belong to immigrate to us too!! What username do you have over there?
