Hi all:

My wife petitioning for her Dad, I130. She doesn't have enough income, I want to be co-sponsor. Which forms I-864 to fill out? Does she fill out I-864? I fill out forms I-864A and I-864? or I just fill out form I-864A ONLY?

11-16-12: Sent I-130 for Dad.
11-19-12: Priority date/rec'd date.
02-06-13: Case approved, NOA2.
02-19-13: NVC received case.
03-08-13: Case # assigned--HCM2013******.
03-09-13: Paid AOS Fee $88.00.
03-09-13: Emailed DS-3032 from Beneficiary's email address.
03-13-13: AOS Fee showed as PAID & sent AOS package certified mail.
03-18-13: AOS package delivered @ 10:50 A.M.
03-18-13: DS-3032 accepted.

She has to fill out I-864 as the petitioner and you need to fill out I-864A as co-sponor.

On #13, your wife, the sponsor, puts her name there and 1 for number of intending immigrants. Her dad's information would be listed on line a. She signs and dates in it #14.

For #15, you print your name, put 1 for number of immigrants and sign and date it on #16. Your income will be combined with hers on her I-864 form.

My wife and I filed joint tax returns. She (sponsor) and I (co-sponsor) for her Dad. How do we report income tax on item #25 form I-864 and item #13 on form I-864A? Can we report combine income on these 2 items or separate income?

Also my wife is self-employed (working for someone for commission as a manicurist). On her 1099-MISC, they reported $15,000 but on her Schedule C (Net profit from business), her net profit amount is only $14,000. So which amount I should write on her annual income? I think $14,000 right?

List your individual incomes for your current annual incomes, and put the total income number off your joint taxes for the tax questions.
