Cover letter for wife's child entering USA
Posted 30 October 2012 - 05:25 AM
The child will be entering alone but with Airline escort. My wife heard that writing a cover letter for the customs officer is a good idea. Stating introduction of the child and address and phone numbers. I think it's a great idea. Anybody have example letters to share or a link source ?

In Arizona we can Keep our RIFLE's and HAND GUNS, no CCW required but a good idea. Remember gun safety always!

I would put all the pertinent information, who what why where and when. Emergency contact information, who will be their to pickup etc. I had my short version in China, who i was with, where I was staying etc. and had a copy in each of my luggage.
Emergency contact information, etc. is a prudent piece of information for ALL travelers.
