Can anyone please help!!

I just been away for a week and when i last checked the Visa Journey USCIS Processing Time Statistics graph time line the was on the 15th July and our personal time line stated "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between November 23, 2012 and December 31, 2012. Yesterday i checked on my return and the information has changed to USCIS Processing Time Statistics graph time line the was on the 9th July and our personal time line stated "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between December 21, 2012 and January 1, 2013.

Can anyone please answer the following questions!!

1. Are these time lines accurate and does the data come from the USCIS?
2. Is this usual for the time lines to jump so dramatically? from 4 weeks to 8 weeks?
3. Why would the processing date go backwards from the 15th July to the 8th July?
4. Does this mean there is a problem with our application, even though i dont even think they have got to ours yes as we submitted on Aug 31st?

Just like everyone we are very anxious to be together and this is very disappointing news, so any advice would be very much appreciated!!

Many Thanks

Ian and Deanna

The VJ timelines are exactly that, a VJ timeline. It has nothing to do with USCIS.

There is a computer progam here that when people fill out their timelines, the computer program puts together an estimate of when your petition will be adjudicated. Since VJ represents only a very small percent of petitions at USCIS, and not everyone keeps their timeline updated, I am sure you can understand why timelines change and change so drastically.

You've been waiting 2 months, while I undestand it is very difficult to wait, many others have been waiting much much longer

Good luck

The time lines are the result of all the information posted on this site and should provide a guide, at one time someone posted the percentage of members VS everyone else if someone remembers. Good Luck with your process.

Just take it as guide, not written in stone and not affiliated with USCIS or NVC at all. We got our NOA2 a week earlier than our adjudication time, 85 days to be exact.

Good luck on your journey!

Try not to stress so much, you will only make yourself crazy. The timelines are not affiliated with USCIS in any way nor should they be taken as any kind of official expected date. When I first entered my information back in March, my timeline showed expected NOA 2 in early July....then VSC slowed to a crawl and watched my timeline move further and further...Try not to worry yourself too much and consider yourself blessed if you get NOA 2 before the end of January.

Timelines will jump like that when someone has been away from VJ forever and comes posts updates after having their case held up. They will expand and contract and you will stop worrying about them when your event happens.

I recall my timeline stating July back when we filed in March. Then it jumped back to September. It stayed there, yet I didn't get the NoA2 until October.

VJ timelines should be used as an estimate only. It gives you a decent idea of when your petition will be approved.

VJ timelines are based upon data entered by VJ members on when they have been approved. The only data that USCIS has is representative of what they are currently processing. You will see the processing times on USCIS change numerous times. This is all apart of this long journey we are on.
