Hey everyone

So Im in Venezuela visiting my family after 2 years in the US.. I already have my greencard and Im coming back to the States with my wife (American citizen) and my mom, who has a tourist visa... this is going to be my second time coming in to the US and I think I remember being two lines in immigration. One for Citizens and residents and one for Tourists. I was wondering, is it possible for us to go through immigration with my mom? or is that line strictly for tourists? thanks... btw im going to Atlanta

You should be fine to.go throughbthe tourists line, it will probably be longer though.

Last time I was at LAX I was told to go to the citizens line because it was shorter.

I am sure they are used to people in the wrong lines.

If you want to stay together, you will likely need to go through the tourist line- usually much longer. Often, there is a person directing people to lines and you could ask them.
