Normally, you wil get your EAD/AP card (if you requested them), after 30 to 45 days after your biometric appointment. And the green card the waiting is unknown. Some people recieved it after 90 days or more after the biomteric. I had my biometric taken on august 31, recieved my EAD on sep 29. I havent heard anything from USCIS since then. Till waiting for my interview or having a great surprise of recieving my gc without interview :)

As you see on my time line I'm in a similar situation as the person who just responded to you. I've had my biometrics quiet quick and within a week got my EAD...but since then everything has been at a standstill and have not heard, read, seen anything happening at my side since then...I honestly don't know when I'll hear from them...I hear some centers are totally backlogged...maybe mine too?! >.<

Thanks!

This blows my mind though...why it took so long for you? I've got my biometrics done on the 27th of September, and the next day USCIS website said that the card is in production, and by the 5th of October I had it. I don't understand why in some areas a simple EAD card takes that long...it's insane...well, at least yours is on its way as well. All the best for the rest of the process...you might get your interview appointment sooner than I will...so far since I've got my EAD I have heard nothing from anywhere...

Which center is your local USCIS? I got my biometrics done today at Alexandria, VA. I hope I get my EAD and AP in one week haha!
