Hello everybody,

Mom will be having her interview in a few weeks for her immigrant visa. I had a question about DHL. Do you need to set an account prior to go to the interview? Also, with your experience, Which DHL location seem to be faster to get your passport return with the visa? Any comments will be strongly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi there. My husband had his interview on October 10th we were doing a CR-1 type of visa. My husband didn't have to have an account at the DHL. After the getting the interview approval they just handed him a sheet of paper with instructions about how to set up an account and decide where you want your visa delivered. Right after his interview was approved we got online and followed the instructions on the sheet of paper to set up an account and put where we wanted his passport and visa to be sent to. Since he lives in Trujillo, Peru he decided to pick it up there and it just took 2 days to be ready at the DHL office in Trujillo. On October 12 his visa and passport were ready for him to pick them up. I hope my husbands experience could help you with your question. :]
