what about my old passport as i send copies of old passport ,when i will appear for interview in embassy ,i will have 2 passports.Do u think that new passport will not create any problem for me .Plz help me
you should go and get your new passport ASAP. I had this same problem. If your case is still in USCIS, you can send new passport copy to them, if its in NVC then send new copy to NVC and If its already completed and you are waiting for your interview, just take it to interview as you wont get visa as your passport will expire in less than six months.

And another thing is that you can't renew your passport if it has more than 6 months left so wait a bit and then renew it.
The new passport will have your old passport number printed on it as well.
