My wife's AOS was filed in early May and was transferred to the CSC shortly there after. We have received her combo EAD/AP card. I know since our package was sent to CSC we may or may not get an interview.
I was wondering did anyone get any TXT/Emails before your interview letter came in the mail, or was there a touch on your file?
Usually how long between the letter being received and the interview happening?
How long should we contact USCIS before we find out a status on our case. I noticed that our office, Atlanta, is 4 months for AOS. Should go by 4 months or something longer?
Thanks

If you subscribed for email/text updates on the USCIS website, you will receive an update right away if you have an interview or if your case is approved. Then your receive the letter by mail, usually a week after.
I would say usually you have the interview update a month before the interview appointment.
Your case is not in Atlanta, but at CSC so Atlanta timeline doesn't apply to you. Cases that are at CSC stay there for a long time, be patient. Anyway your wife got her EAD/AP (same rights as the green card, but temporarily) so there's no need for the green card immediately.

Our wait from application was 9 months, 10 to green card, on the long side. Check out the time lines similar to yours.
Good Luck on your immigration journey.
