AOS FOR ALMOST 7 MONTHS, WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE CSC????

I filed my AOS last Feb 2, 2012 and it was transferred to CSC last Feb 29. It says that I need to wait for 180 days before inquiring so I did. I called the USCIS after passing the deadline and the only thing they told me is that I need to wait for 15 days again and if I haven't heard anything from them then I need to call them back. Is there anyone here same as my case, need to know cause I start to worry.. Thanks.

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

This seems to be the norm for CSC. We are in the same boat at CSC, just a few months behind you.
Plenty of reading to do here about it
So much for them to transfer our case to "speed" up the processing time.Posted Image

I am not outside of processing time yet. We filed in May but were transferred in June. Which reset the processing timeframe BTWPosted Image

But you can look through threads from the link I sent you. Lots of reading in there.

Hi Smirky,

My AOS was transferred to CSC two days before yours (Feb 27th), and I'm still waiting too :( Let's hope they process us before our EAD's and AP's expire!

You're not alone, just hang in there.when there's a beginning there's an end...Just be patient and enjoy your stay here while waiting for the GC...I just wondered what are the basis while they are transferring cases to CSC..."to speed up the process" ;) lol

You're not alone, just hang in there.when there's a beginning there's an end...Just be patient and enjoy your stay here while waiting for the GC...I just wondered what are the basis while they are transferring cases to CSC..."to speed up the process" ;) lol

That's what it says in the notice, to expedite the case but I guess it's not the way it is... :angry: still hoping for the best though..

My AOS was transferred to CSC two days before yours (Feb 27th), and I'm still waiting too :( Let's hope they process us before our EAD's and AP's expire!

Oh I see. But haven't you called yet the USCIS to inquire?

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).
07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?
09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).
09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).
10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."
12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.
12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.
12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.
01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.
01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.
04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").
05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.
05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).
06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."
07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.
08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).
08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Glad to hear your news....still nothing for me, but my time must be coming?!!!


I did call USCIS, and everything's still live and on their system and I haven't missed an RFE or anything.

I flatly refuse to get stressed about it...I can work, I can travel, I have my SSN and my driver's license. Like most of us, I also have no shortage of other stuff to stress about! It'll come when it comes I guess.
