Singapore - Packet 3

You can return packet 3 now, if you like. It looks like it is taking about a month from returning packet 3 to the interview date at the moment. You will *most probably* be fine.

Sometimes earlier slots do open up and the embassy will try to fill them. If they give you a slot and you don't have the required documents yet, there are two possible scenarios:

1. You ask for a later date.

2. You attend the interview without the required documents and get a 221(g) form. You will have to submit the documents via Aramex after your interview. They will hold off on issuing your visa until you have submitted the missing documents.

BTW, remember to make a copy of your receipt from Standard Chartered Bank. You will need the MRV number when you are registering with Aramex after the interview.

Hi Kat, I woulld to ask for your advise, I am now ready to mail my packet 3, do i send the original deposit slip from the standard chartered bank, visa fee payment?

As for my packet 3, The documents I need to provide are only the following, The confirmed ds-160, deposit slip, and the letter stating I am ready to submit. Is there anything else I would need to include in my mail? How did you mail, did you register?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, send the original deposit slip. Keep the copy with you.

If the instructions have not changed from the time I submitted my documents, then yes, that is all you need.

I didn't send my docs back through registered mail, but you certainly can if you want to track the delivery.

What type of identification does the Standard Chartered Bank take? Do they only take a passport? Or any identification card will do?

Thanks

any government issued ID will do (i didn't have my passport on me either) but they do ask for your passport number, so have that handy.
