Singapore - Packet 3

184 posts in this topic Register to Ask a Question

I have been anxiously waiting for the US embassy here in Sg to send me my packet 3. We already have our case number since Aug 10, but no word yet from the embassy. I have emailed them to inquire how long it will take this morning and I hope they reply soon!

Anyone who has experience on this? Should I expect for a Packet 3? I think it is a must coz I can't find the instructions in their website.

I am also waiting for my Packet 3. Did you receive yours already?

I got a reply from the embassy today and they told me they had sent packet 3 already. Unfortunately they didn't even say when they sent it to give me an idea when to expect it! Anyway, if I haven't received it by Friday, I'll email them again.

Have you got your case number already? Have you tried emailing them? I'm so glad to find someone in Singapore waiting for k1 visa. :)

Fleurg, when did you receive your NOA2?

Received the NOA2 on Aug 7.

I'm still working here in Singapore. Will try to apply for the COC this week. I heard it will take 10 days.

Cenomar requirement is a bit tough. They require the certificate to be sent by NSO directly to the embassy. But, delivery abroad takes 6-8 weeks. I've sent ecensus a mail on how to go about the special courier sevices.

I just got back home and guess what?? I got the packet 3 too!! I think they mailed our packets at the same time. Lol. Are you gonna resign after the interview?

Thanks sa tips regarding the CENOMAR. I will check that out tonight. I hope they accept special courier services.

Ok so the only thing we need to send the embassy is Form DS-230 I, right?? And then the rest we bring to the interview??
