You're in a quagmire. My concern is actually withholding a material information with your Fiancee. I think this information is pertinent to her. I've read at least two threads on here where the foreign Spouse lamented on her American Fiance no tliving up to expectations, etc.
As far as the Embassy is concerned, I am not sure.

So you will lie to her just so SHE won't lie to the CO?
Seriously? How about you tell her the truth. You have 2 months until her results come back and you may get a job by then.
You WILL have to get a job, because the USEM will, most likely, NOT accept a co-sponsor (because they normally don't accept sponsor for Philippines). I'm sorry you are going through this.. it sucks to lose your job, especially now that you are going through the visa.. but lying shouldn't be an option... EVER.

Sorry about your delay at St. Luke's. Do you need to tell the embassy you are unemployed? Yes, unless you want to be denied for fraud. This would be an indication on your I-134. I don't think it is a good start to a marriage if you are asking whether or not you should deceive your fiancee. Yes, she will be lying at her interview if you do not tell her. Ignorance is not an excuse to the CO. This is called lying by omission on your part. You have options. Not trying to seem harsh, but this site doesn't condone what you are considering. Unemployment benefits do not disqualify you. You also have the option of the possibility of a cosponsor. However, cosponsor approval isn't always given at some consulates for K-1 with Manila included. Just be honest in all of this.yes i am recieving unemployment right now while i am trying to find another job but i need to find one fast cause her interview will be in about 2 months after her culture test come back i am sure it will be negative cause the other test were she does not know i lost my job yet so i dont know if i should tell her? cause if she really dont know i have lost it then she wont be lieing at the interview i am just sick we have come this far and then this happens to us thanks for replying

You're welcome. Yes, this would be indicated with your I-134. You have to report your income whether employed or not to meet the 125% poverty level requirement. Given that your income is currently through unemployment benefits, it would be understood that you are unemployed, and the issue would come up in the interview. You can explain your situation. The CO would see that you were employed and how recently you were employed due to your G-325A form.maybe i did not make my self clear my original question was do i have to inform the usembassy about my job loss? i think from the replies that i have to ok thanks

Hey I want to send my heartfelt good luck to you as this is a tough posiition to be in. I delayed my filing due to being unemployed for the first time in my life and wanting to be financially secure or well over the poverty level when I applied. I don't know what to tell you except I wish you the best. I hope and pray none of us have to go through this during the process.. God Speed and have faith...we are applying for k1 visa from the philippines and i just lost my job we are in the medical step now at slec she failed her test so we have to wait 2 months for the sputum test but my question is we already qualified for the proof of income so do i need to tell u.s. embassy that i am on unemployment now? thanks for any replies
