Oh Islamabad has CRACK THE CODE. I am glad through these hard times ya'll can still have sense of humor (so vital) and LOL once in awhile. I been following all ya'lls (man am I getting more and more Texan) post and I know things are about to happen. Just like things have been turning around in Nigeria. Couples now happily are getting approvals. So hang on my Islanmabad peeps. This Nigeria wife is rootin for ya and praying as always.

I agree... and ill bet like USCIS there will still be some with inaccurate records or can't see them at all. But the majority will be able to!! Glitches still but for the most part a good thing for all of us!

I agree! :) And yeah, it also seems the system is down for a while... waiting for it to be up again so I can check my status.

Your case was approved by the CO? And u r waiting for passport?

She didn't say "Approved" but it certainly seemed that way... interview was very brief and positive (all smiles, CO was satisfied with my answers), and when I asked her if she needed anything more from me, she said, "No, no, you've already sent us everything." The way she said that, plus the way she was flipping through our file and the pictures we'd sent with our original I-130 application, indicated it was okay. She kept my passport too and returned my original documents. So yes, I'm waiting for my visa-fied passport! :) God-Willing.

What is there to touch on an administrative processing case? The dates have always changed until that last day, but he has remained on AP for 27months. Nothing new...

I also believe the response date is an update or touch in the case. You mentioned why this would happen in AP, well, I was told that 3 different agencies are responsible for the AP checks and approval doesn't occur until all 3 approve the case. So it could be any one of the 3 updating/touching the case.

Even if the response date have changed more than three times? I didn't know it takes 27months and counting to finish an AP case, and my husband doesn't even have a familiar name. I have a feeling that his folder is somewhere in the office full of dust. Since the embassy there was closed for about 9months, they are back logged and with that, I feel they are trying to work with assigning interviews & leave the AP cases aside because the AP cases dont really have time frames.

I have never heard that a USC is refused entry into an embassy. There is a department specially for USC who have encountered a problem

for example lost a passport etc...if he can go there and from there try to make it to the consular department or make an appointment to speak

with them maybe. The CO can refuse to speak to him but he should be allowed inside and not stopped by the guard with a USC passport.

Your USC husband can call DOS at 202-663-1225, press 1,0, to inquire about his case status. After 120 days he can ask for a service request for status inquiry. Two months is not enough time to get any results.

Has your case been returned ?

Just looked up your content and saw that you were denied. It will take several months, has your husband contacted his senator to help in

locating where your currently petition is ?
