I am making a copies and sending originals to my wife. Your wife will be allowed to keep the originals anyway, so she can bring them back with her when she comes.

It is possible they will require the originals, I'm not sure. Usually they will not even ask to see the NOA1 or NOA2

No you do not need copies of the NOA1 or NOA2 for the interview. The embassy has your complete petition packet already, they HAVE your approval information.

Everything the embassy requires is in this letter: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction%20Packet%20_3__rtf2_005.pdf

I just looked at your timeline as your profile doesn't have your information. You are a IR/CR-1 so that letter I attached isn't of any value to you. Just the same you don't need the NOA1 or NOA2 at the embassy. What did NVC or the embassy send you as requirements?

Maybe this link will be of assistance:

For me, I will send to my significant other the NOA2....I read on here that some consular officers are asking to see it, so why take the chance of her not having it?

Looking to see it? Never heard that one ( ). Besides if they wanted to see it, they can see an original in your petition packet that is sitting on the desk in front of them.

YOUR originals are still in your hands, your petition packet has them also.

Its two pieces of paper, if you really want to send them to your wife, attach them to an email... no big thing. I was simply saying they are not required or asked for by the embassy.

For what is required by the embassy follow the link I provided, its info for IR/CR -1
