No, that is why your social security card has 'Valid for work only with DHS authorization' printed on it. The DHS authorization is the EAD. You need both the SSN and EAD to work.

Im married too but i have no EAD which means I cant work. You need to wait until you have it. It takes around 60 days when you file for AOS.

It doesn't have anything to do with whether you are married now or not. Marrying a USC does not give anyone permission to work in the US.

Someone that enters with a K-1 is a legal alien allowed to work. That category allows someone with a K-1 the eligibility to apply for their SSN and work authorization(EAD).

They are legal and allowed to work, so long as they have their EAD and SSN. They need both to work, not one or the other. Again, that is what the 'Valid for work only with DHS authorization' printed on the SS card means. It is only valid for work with authorization, the Employment Authorization Document(EAD).

When your green card is approved, you have permanent resident status, and that plus your SSN is all you need then. The EAD will be unnecessary and invalid. You can return to the SSA at that point with your green card to let them know you are now a permanent resident, and you can then be issued a new card without that stipulation printed on it.
