Finally after 14 months of waiting my fiance was finally approved. He will pick up his visa on the 15th and will be here on the 18th. Thank you to everyone that helped me, answered my questions and calmed me down during this process. This is an amazing site with even more amazing people.

All these waiting, pains and sufferings are finally paying off. Thanks for sharing, as I am sure this will give hope to many similar to your position it even worse.

So he is flying on 18th and coming on 19th? Bed wishes for you and your fiancé. Enjoy these moments and down the road of you ever feel down, think about these helpless frustrating moments, how hard you tried, and what you felt after hearing the good news, and I am sure it will lift your spirit. Have a great life together.

Thank u so much for the kind words. Also thank u for being there whenever I needed something. You have been a great help to me thru this process. He will leave on 17th and be here on 18th. Will give him couple of days to say good bye to his friends. Once again thank u for everything.

July of 2010: We met in Eritrean when I was on vacation.
August of 2010: Returned to U.S and we spoke on the phone everyday and still do (very costly).
December of 2010 to January 2011: went back to Eritrea to see him.
January 11, 2011- Engaged.
March 2, 2011: I-129F sent
March 13, 2012: Second interview. Placed on Administrative Processing.
October 16, 2012: Case sent back to USCIS
November 16, 2012 Case reaffirmed and sent back to the Department of State (according to the USCIS SITE)
November 28, 2012 Vermont Service Center received Petition back from Embassy.
March 2013- Returned K1 validity expired. Here we go again.... !
