I just met with my attorney and asked about the 5-month processing goal for fiance and marriage visas at VSC. She said that the VSC has been running about 1 month behind on all visa petitions in general. I just thought I'd share this for those of us who filed in January and February and who are waiting with bated breath for our NOA2s.

well one month wouldn't be that bad as that's just a little less than 2 more weeks for us... unfortunately I have a feeling it will be longer than that... there are still petitions from January 3rd/4th/5th that are not approved and that's over 6 months for them at this stage... on top of that there are 9th/10th/12th/13th/17th/18th/19th etc untouched... This doesn't look promising unless they just put all the forces to start processing I129F but obviously they won't as there are other petitions with a huge backlog too!
