Is this true that number of visa in f2a category is increasing?

I have heared from my relative who is USC that congress has dicided to increase the number of visas in f2a category from october of this year. Is this true?
If it happens then it means that our pds also move v fast???
Plz any body confirm this news???

Did your relative give a source for this information? I also have not heard of this before, and couldn't find anything through a quick web search.

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2
 

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent
 

My husband's citizenship journey:

8 February 2013: N-400 sent
4 March 2013: Biometrics
24 April 2013: Interview
12 June 2013: Oath ceremony

He told this to my husband.
I m also not sure about this that's why i m asking from u guyz...

I heard too but not 100%. Last year my lawyer told me that.because it was conversations between congressmens about increasing visa numbers but they still need to approve it or just let it go like never mine. But for now I didn't heard anything like that,so I dont now it will be tru or not

Yes i also heared the same but mine source is different. My lawyer didnt tell me this but friend of my husband told this
