filling out ds230 question 33

I had my wife filled out and signed part 1 of form ds-230. I got the form through DHL. However I only asked her to type her university and her degree. I read some other post to list high school and even up to elementary. My first question: is university good enough? I guess I can write it using pen myself to list her high school and middle school. Second question, can I write it myself with pen? All answers were typed in pdf. Or does she she need to edit pdf and mail it to me again ?

The question is "all schools" not "all colleges" or "all universities". Take it literally. No reason you can't fill in the rest now though.

Be safe and sure by doing this. Go on your computer on Microsoft word start a new document and type question # 33

Continued:

Then continue listing the rest of her schools attended etc.

Be sure to rule the page the same was as it is ruled up in question 33. by doing this you will be safe.

I guess I can do this. But who is going to sign this document? Me or her?

Another way is for me to hand write the additional education including high school and middle school. Is this okay? I think there's enough room to write.

The foreigner signs the document but there's no reason you can't add this information AFTER the signature has been affixed. Don't listen to folks who tell you THEY got by with something. Do it right. All means all.

I assume when you mean the foreigners sign the documents are for Form DS-230. I got that already signed by her. But I also understand any piece of paper that will included in DS-230 needs to be signed as well. Is it my signature or her's ? If it's her, I hate for her to mail me again that piece of paper.

I rather fill out her additional education myself with a pen. Is that acceptable? Are they gonna care if there are two different hand writings? Obviously, her writing is different from mine when she signed and date.

Just attach a continuation sheet of paper with the information properly stated. You do not need her to sign each sheet of paper submitted only the DS 230 part 1. Which is already signed. Just type up on an additional sheet of paper the necessary bit of information with the question number properly stated.

No signature is needed on a supplemental sheet but if there is room on the form to insert the information, no, they do not care if there are two different kinds of hand writing. She's going to sign part II under oath in front of a Consular Officer.

Just as an aside for those who think it's OK to just put college information in there, I have a question? If the visa applicant never went to college, do you think it's OK to just leave that section blank? How about if the quite school in the eighth grade? Just leave it blank? You get the picture. What you can "GET BY" with is no way to be thinking during this process.

I was thinking of only putting schools where I earned a degree, because between kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, colleges, studying abroad and grad school, I'm not even sure I'd manage to make a list that's 100% accurate.
