Just wondering how accurate are the estimated processing times that are quoted on the site? According to the time table they are processing people with NOA date of march 18th.. mine is 23rd.. and how soon after would i know if they approved or denied it? Also i had an RFE and i mailed the responce on april 20th and they got it on the 25th, though i dont know yet if they got everything they needed or not yet, would that affect their decision on my EAD?
yet another question about EAD |

From what i know, the processing dates on the USCIS site are accurate - but they only reflect averages. Every case is unique and therefore the timelines for different stages of the process can also vary greatly. EADs tend to arrive within the 90-day window from USCIS receiving the original package, but your RFE most likely halted the processing of your paperwork. The RFE doesn't really have anything to do with your EAD, but usually when there is an RFE, the whole case is on hold until USCIS receives the requested additional evidence. It might have very well delayed the EAD/AP processing as well.

Well, your EAD slowed your case down by whatever time it took you to reply. The EAD takes about 3 months to approve, so I would not be expecting it in a month and a half.
