Can I take my child to my Biometric appointment ?? It's today.

Adjustment of Status from TPS to Permanent Resident

Married on December 28,2007 <3

01/18/2012 Sent I130 to USCIS

0/25/2012 NOA received

04/11/2012 Sent AOS Package to Chicago Lockbox

04/17/2012 NOA recieved

4/23/2012 Biometric Appointment notice received

5/4/2012 Biometrics completed & the real waiting game begins !

Will it be ok ?

I am not positive on children, but it should say on your notice something to the affect of not bringing people because of space etc. I know you can bring your spouse but they are not allowed in past the waiting area...so this may depend on the age of your child?

You don't have anyone that can keep him/her for an hour?

When I walked-in for my biometrics, I went with my slightly over 2-year-old step-son because daycare was closed that day (Easter Monday) and wifey was at work.

There was absolutely no issue, and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes including the lobby-waiting. I don't think it should be an issue at all for you if the kid is old enough to at least sit by himself right there in the biometrics booth; or cling to your clothing as you stand to be finger-printed.

Obviously you will need your hands free for a couple moments; and you will also have to pose for a passport pic.

AOS, ROC, N-400, & PASSPORT, FOR HUSBAND TO USC

Guys,I decided to not take her along.I was there for less than 20 minutes I think.They already had my fingerprints so they just needed my picture,but the lady recognized that after she made the fingerprints! Oh well,it's no big deal.Now the waiting game begins.
