The things seems to be slowed down a lot lately in both VSC and CSC. The slowdown impacts everyone, regardless on when you filed.

unfortunately no one knows... people are still approved from December and there was one from January but we are guessing really here what is happening at the USCIS. All we have to do at this point is just wait for our turn :( and hope that our petition won't be delayed.

im glad December filers are being approved!

The frustration of not hearing anything or seeing any progress atall is really starting to set in! Everyday i feel like ive been forgotten about or its me who has done something wrong :( then i come onto the forum for piece of mind that there are fellow strugglers like me!

I didnt know it would be this hard. :crying:

is it not possible to call uscis and ask if they are having trouble with petitions or why the site has adjusted its approval time estimate ?

yes it is possible and some people did call. They however got different replies, some are saying they've been told it is still 5 months, some were told that there is a backlog and they are processing June or September which we clearly see here that is not the case, since December filers are being approved. I wouldn't worry if I was you. If you set up your goal for July, you should be approved by then. If earlier, that will be just a nice surprise :)

and yes it is hard! I'm on a day no 97 today and it's hard to think that we might be only half way through! That's why I don't think about it that much anymore. We will be approved at the right time, I'm hoping by June but as long as I get to ABQ for the balloon festival in October I will be happy too :)

I think VSC happened to find a lost July11 petition and they captured that in the monthly reporting...which makes everything appear off or delayed. I wouldn't worry too much about that... It will update again soon. Check the timeline stats. VJ people are being approved from December...

This to me seems to be the most plausible answer. The list they give you is based on the last petition that was approved. So it could well have been that a petition from july WAS the last one they approved when they ran the stats, the next one approved could have been that one from January. So it throws the stats right out. There are still a steady stream of approvals coming through, so while I accept there might be a small delay, I don't think it's as bas as everyone thinks.

Vermont is currently about 4.5 months. We can see how many they push through in the next couple weeks...???

yes we should think positive and believing in that July petition being the last processed at that time should be sth we hold on to, plus it makes a perfect sense! :) I am sure we will all be celebrating in May and June :) I am actually looking forward to tomorrow , I don't know why! I got a feeling that may will bring sth positive :)
