Would having an I.T.I.N prohibit me from adjusting my status? I know I am asking alot of questions, but I am really nervous. I am meeting with a lawyer on friday. Any suggestions on questions I should ask him.

I am really nervous about adjusting. My wife said I shouldn't worry and the lawyer said the same.

The ITIN has no bearing on these proceedings. It only indicates overstay and that you paid taxes during that time...good job. ;)

I'm sorry if I'm being a bother but my wife is 16 years older than I am and I think this will cloud USCIS decision. We are both deeply in love. Do you guys see this being a problem. We don't have kids together but she has two teenage boys that live at home with us.

According to the Field Adjudicator's Manual, large age gaps are a red flag. But if you have proof of a legitimate relationship it can definitely be overcome.
