So on September 4, I checked my case on line and it showing that they've mailed the oath letter already. Does anybody know how long it usually takes? I've been checking my mailbox every single day after I got back from vacation and so far, it hasn't turned up yet. I'm just excited for this whole thing to be over.

I think u should call the 1 800 number they will provide u the date and location where u shoul attend ur oath ceremony. I got mine 1 day after my status changed online

CONGRATS!! If you want to get a good seat with the kids, might want to get there a little early and sit in the middle section, closest to front. They take the petitioners first a couple of rows at a time, then their family members a couple of rows at a time. I was toward the back, but stood up for the ceremony so I could videotape it. Good luck, and enjoy your ceremony.

Finally, I got a text message today updatng info that my oath letter has been mailed out to me. I was starting to get nervous as I know theres a ceremony on Sept 28th!! Cant wait!!!!

Interview was yesterday. He recieved "Decision cannot be made at this time" we faxed our taxes yesterday afternoon and received a call about an hour ago(just like MikeandIryna out of chicago) asking if he can make it to the Oath ceremony on monday! He said yes, bc he wants to get this over with, but, I cannot go because of work. I am so bummed. I am praying one of his cousins can go so he isnt alone. I cannot believe this journey is just about over. Chicago was great for filing!!

So, it's taking a good 'ol time for that damn oath letter to be in my mailbox so I ended up calling the 1-800 number to see what's the hold-up and the representative told me that I shouild be getting it in my mailbox within 30 days, if not that I should call them again. Man, more waiting time for me.. as usual.. I'm not even surprised! When something positive happens, they always manage to screw things up. I can't wait for this whole thing to over ! Such a major stressor!

Checked my USCIS account & happy to see the latest update! They've scheduled my oath ceremony & sent the letter! Strange that I didn't get the email notification. All my previous applications updates always generates email notifications. Oh well, not that I'm complaining!

Same thing happened to me too. Got the text that my case had updated. Checked the site to see oath letter was sent but they never sent me an email to that effect.

I don't know about the USCIS offices but someone else here is from OK and they sent me a link to our federal courthouse website where they list the oath ceremonies. Now heres something interesting. Federal court has one for Sept 28th but I just got my oath letter today and my ceremony is for Oct 9th right at the USCIS office. I'd rather have it there anyways as parking downtown sucks and immigration office is just 15 minutes down the road from my house.
