I have definitely lost faith with the USCIS Philadelphia office! I don't know if they just hate me that they keep screwing my case over. I'm in tears now because it has been 33 days since I had my interview and still no damn oath letter. To top it all off, my close friend who had her interview last 9/11 just received her oath letter! I am fuming with frustration and just crying my eyes out. I badly wanna get this whole thing over with and they keep prolonging my agony!!

Hubby had his oath ceremony today. It was a special ceremony bc it was the anniversary of the Constitution.lots of guest speakers and attendees. It was very nice, outside of the Daley Center in the heart of Chicago. Everything went smoothly.

Unfortunately, I have nothing else to do but wait. I don't think I'll be able to wait till Oct 4, that's 30 days after I had the email alert saying that I am placed for the oath taking. I really feel something is up, the officer had to add my PO Box # to the address that I submitted during my interview. Is this something that I need to worry about? My close friend is having her oath ceremony on the 28th. That's only 17 days from her interview date. It's like a slap in the face for applicants like me still waiting for the letter.

Totally understand how frustrated you might be, but looking to your timeline, it has been only 30 days since your approval which is typical in many places. Luck sometimes help people to get earlier oath letters, but you are within the normal time though.

My suggestion is wait another two weeks (that would be 45 days), if nothing try to find out why the delay.......

I sent my application at Phoenix Lockbox but had my interview at Portland Field Office since I'm from Oregon. I had my interview last Sept 6. A week later on Sept 13, got an update that they scheduled my Oath Ceremony on Sept 27.

The Immigration Officer told me that it was going to be 3 weeks later that my Oath Ceremony will LIKELY be scheduled. True enough that it is exactly 3 weeks later after the interview.

Hello everyone, I had my interview on september 6, until now there is no update on my case regarding the oath ceremomy. Do you know how long it take to be scheduled for the oath ceremomy?

We just got off the phone with USCIS regarding him still waiting to be scheduled for his oath. She confirmed he is still in line to be scheduled for his oath. lol but frustrating! She said if it goes past 90 days after his interview date which was on July 19th then she would request an update. I know we live in this small town north east of Houston and that is why we arent having his oath ceremony in Houston but over in Beaumont but still ! gosh! Im ready to have a party & get this over with!!!
