How long after we fill out the DS 260 for K1 doe it take to get interview in Juarez. And Thanks again for all your patience.

You will make the appointments(ASC and interview) yourself. I am not sure how far out they will schedule your appointments though.

The instructions here, http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/K1%20PACKET%20COMPLETE%20_July2011%20UPDATES_.pdf

state:

"prior to attending your consular interview appointment you should also complete DS-260 form on line at www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and after that, you must access http://mexico.usvisa-info.com to schedule an appointment at the Applicant Service Center (ASC) of your choice, to get your fingerprints and photographs collected.

Each applicant is required to appear in person at the Applicant Service Center (ASC) prior to the consular appointment date. Once you have reached http://mexico.usvisa-info.com, follow the instructions to log in and schedule an appointment. It is important that you access the website as soon as possible to schedule the ASC appointment. If you do not go to the ASC prior to your interview at the consular section, your case may experience significant processing delays."

Im exactly in the same stage you are. I called juarez consulate and i asked them this same exact question and when the operator looked at the calendar she said as early as apr 12. I made the call last tuesday, so you would expect that its a day later by now.

Thank you so much I am sorry for all the questions but it is confusing. Just one are two more and I think I can make it. Do y'all know if you make the appointments first for the ASC and the consular and then fill out the DS 260. And the last one My fiancee does not have a computer with a printer only her I phone so is it ok for me to fill out the DS 260 on mine with her helping on the phone? Thank you so much

I'm also in this step ....

I'm confused if the website given is to make the appointment for the biometrics or for the interview in Ciudad Juarez????

My fiancé logged in and it said that the next available appt was in 14 days!!! so I'm guessing is the first one for the fingerprints right???

it requires a payment of $350 dls .... and the DS-260 needs to be filled out before going to Ciudad Juarez for the interview!

She will need the confirmation page for her ASC, medical and interview in Juarez. You can fill it out and print off the confirmation page, but if you are not planning on going there for the interview, then you will need to mail the confirmation page to her.

The $350 is the visa processing fee for the interview. You can set up both appointments through them. Just so you know, if you wait just a little bit, the $350 fee is going down to $240 on April 13th.

You can check the reviews. People usually post on which days they scheduled what for. A lot schedule it so they get it all done in 3 days, the ASC for the beginning of the week, do the medical the next day(or medical first day, then ASC), then have the interview the day after that. http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Mexico&cty=&dfilter=5
