Good day. I went here in US using fiancee visa. I am married now and planning to have a church wedding in the Philippines. One of the requirements in the church is the NSO copy of our marriage certificate. I already forwarded the application for the report of marriage to the consular office here in Los Angeles. I want to know if the Philippine Consulate General will automatically send the copy of our marriage certificate to NSO and when can i possibly get the NSO authenticated copy of it? thank you

Even if you are just having a ceremony performed (for family) with no documents they want a certificate from NSO? After all you are already married. Sort of a PITA for sure.

When we registered our marriage with the Consulate in Washington DC, they said it would be provided to NSO. They also said it could take up to one year for them to do it.
