For closing down my "Old Girlfriend" thread. The thread was infested and hijacked beyond salvation. Part of being in a free society is putting up with unwanted intruders and trouble-makers. This open forum format invites people to create phony personas and act out what they would never dare to do in real life interactions. That's why they show up here and play their silly games.

A few take it too far and become disruptions and enjoy aggravating and insulting people. The more you see this showing up, the bigger the coward the troubled poster is in my experience which dates back a long time now. What they can never be in reality, they can pretend to be here in this anonymous make believe world. For being a total jerk, the worst that can happen is censorship or banning. Big deal.

I am, myself, not perfect and I've been duly censored or briefly banned. I haven't been banned for a long time. Maybe I am getting old? I accept the mods calls even when I might think they blew the call. I never harass or play silly games with them. This is not reality. This is make believe. Maybe a few folks on here actually meet or talk via the phone. Good for them. I'm not looking for that kind of connection. I have enough friends and despite being on here, I don't define my entire existence on Russian women or Russian anything.

I have built my online persona as VV and I enjoy that small part of my day...being on here as VV. I will say most folks on here seen like good people and we can agree to disagree like civil people. And, yes, sometimes it's cool to push the limits and get a bit risque or pass judgments on groups of people. One of our favorite targets is American women. I'm part of that choir but I never forget my mother was American as was my first wife who gave me a great son. We are still good friends which is rare and I feel blessed we remain on good terms.

If I'm honest, Russian women are far from perfect themselves and I have stated my views on that subject. There are clearly two special things about Russian women I have noted: A: They will accept an older husband...much older, and B. There are an unusual number of beautiful and available women to choose from versus America or Western Europe.

I've never kidded myself. I'm not going to have the relationship opportunities in the US that I had in Russia. My story may not end well but it was a hell of a ride. I regret nothing. What an adventure!

I get busy for 24 hours and when I check back in, it's locked, sigh man. Infested and hijacked, perhaps, but also quite entertaining, except that I could not recontribute to my mini-thread nor add (substantially, as follows) to the internal thread beginning on p. 8 at approx. post #108 ff., si man:

The reason that it's important to know whether or not there's (no) underwear is to gauge the potential for wedgies, si man.

Finally, Charles!-Bone (and si man, he is probationarily deserving of this esteemed -- nay man, exalted -- suffixial moniker) is probably both underrated and underappreciated as a moderator, sigh man. However, I don't believe that he has contributed by vote to the "Wedgies, Si Man" poll (in the Polls forum) yet, no man, and this is of grave concern, see man.

Glad to say that we (usual members of the RUB forum) do not respond by interfering with the free interaction of people in the UK forum. Hopefully I will never become so pathetically lost, empty and hopeless that I would gain some measutre of pleasure from that.

Just because you CAN is not a reason you SHOULD.

I promise that no matter how rude and disruptive they get in this forum, I will not reciprocate in theirs. I am just going to ignore most of them, the ones that have gone beyond and ability to contribute anything.

As it is exclusively from ONE other regional sub forum that this comes from over and over and over again, it is nothing short of shameful and embarrassing. The cpncept is bizarre.

The pathetic plea that they do it for the benefit of the women is hollowed out by the absence of these same people in the regional forums of cultures which are far more oppressive to woemn than anyone in the RB forum. Are they in the MENA forum defending the rights of women? No. The Philippine forum? No. Why? Others? No. ONLY the RUB forum. Why?

RUB women are in no way oppressed or even cabable of being oppressed.

Most of us in the RUB forum deliberately chose to marry a woman from the Former Soviet Union and sought them out for that purpose, While I met Alla by chance, I was most certainly looking for a RUB wife and would not comsider another option. If someone thins that is stupid...to bad. It is my choice to make for myself.

We enjoy interacting with like minded people with like minded wives, with like minded lives. If someone else wants to come and join the fun, by all means do so. Tbone is a good example.

If you are just coming around to make trouble, please, don't.

And I am not pleased to see the red x's of closed topics in or forum because people from other forums came here and caused that. That is somethign we do not see here except when people from other forums come to visit. Not to mention the necessity of warnings that would appear to be directed at 3rd graders. Absent the visitors, this does not happen here.
