DOS will not be able to help you now. Your case is with NVC and you have to deal with them only right now.

so when does it help to call DOS then. correct me if i am wrong or maybe read it differently. u also called DOS when it was at embassy. I am a bit confused on getting help with DOS at the moment

When you have the interview scheduled you can start calling dos instead of Nvc!

The embassy returned my email. They said it was a mistake and I do not need a co-sponsor!

My husband will go for his interview in about 7 days. We need time to practice possible questions the embassy might ask.

Asif asghar congratulations on finally getting your visa!

Carolyn!!!!!!!

I'm am so excited for you and your husband. I can't wait to finally hear that you two are together. It has been such a long journey but your faith and love will overcome all obstacles.

My husband can come in any day at 8 AM. Yes I do have a co-sponsor but I don't want to use him if my Affidavit of Support is good.

I'm happy to hear this good news Carolyn!

I have some good news. The embassy finally called and emailed my husband to come in for an interview. There is one problem. I have a letter from the embassy saying my Affidavit of support and all the other documents we sent are fine but in the email we got today they are saying the Affidavit of Support is not fine and we need a co-sponsor.

I have written to my senator about this and sent a copy of the letter. I also emailed the embassy to find out if they made a mistake because I meet the income

guidelines. I will keep you guys informed about what happens with my case.

Congrats Sis..I am happy for u atleast one of us got positive response from embassy after long time....

Best of Luck

Just when I though the pain of waiting was over my husband got into an accident last night. He fell on the steps of his house. He fell on his face. He had to go the

hospital and they put stiches in his lip and forehead. He is in bad shape right now. I don't know when he will feel like going to the embassy for his interview.

Please pray for us.

Also congratulations to all the people that are getting their visas!

Sometimes AP can take a little longer when you have traveled outside of Pakistan but many people that have not traveled have been in AP for 8 months or more. My

husband has never been out of Pakistan but we have spent 14 months in AP so far.
