How to convert Philippines clothing size to USA size?

Does anyone know how to convert Philippines jean and short sizes to USA size? If I am 25 in Philippines what would my size in the USA be?

Its hard to convert size because there are so many different fit/style/size of jeans in the USA. Most stores I go to I never wear the same size as I tried on in the last store. I think your best bet is to try a few different stores and just see how the jeans fit for yourself.

I know some of my Asian friends end up buying jeans in the Junior or Teen sections because they fit their frame better. If you have problems with fit in the women's section I would recommend trying there.

The sizing would be about the same - the difference would be the cut/fit.

My wife wear a size 26 jeans in the Philippines & a size 26 in VS or Aeropostale would fit her but in other styles she would either have to go up or down a size because of the cut - even within the brands there were different fit.

As previously mentioned it would be best to try a few styles in different stores/brands to get a better feel/idea.

Jena just bought a couple pair of jeans in Phils this spring. They were size 27. In the US she usually wears a size 2 or 3 but I've seen here fit into a size 1 on occasion. Like others have said, it depends on the cut of the jeans. You'll be shopping in the juniors section. I guess a 26 in Phils is probably a size 1 or Zero in the US. Good luck finding many in size zero. You can also try large or xtra large girls but the styles will be different.

Whoah. That's my friend in New York told me so. With a petite frame, I would not easy to find the fitted ones for me.

Pretty much the same waist line size if you base it to that. Mine is 26 in the PI and 26 here, too. My only problem is the length of jeans so I always cut them off.
