OMG I am sooooooooo very happy and on cloud nine right now, just spoke with Zaeem, he was approved!!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance: The Interview was a bit tough, they interviewed him for about an hour, asking him all kinds of questions mainly about my finances, which I really don't understand because I am well over the poverty line, but who cares, we are APPROVED......YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: Thank you so much to everyone that has supported us on this site, I don't know how I would have gotten through this without you guys, he should be receiving his visa by courier in 3-4 days. At the end of the interview the CO said CONGRATULATIONS Mr. Khan, everything is more than perfect and you will receive your visa in 3-4 days by courier, the best words I think I have ever heard. What a happy happy day this is, the happiest day our of lives. :luv:

9/28/06 - Visa in Zaeems Hand - YEAHHHHH

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

1/20/07 - MARRIED!!!!!

2/10/07 - rec'd certified copy of marriage license

3/13/07 - AOS package rec'd at Chicago Lockbox

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

Note: I immigrated from Canada, not T&T - the timeline is reflective of this.

PRESENT - IR-5 Story (reuniting a family)
I-130 for Parents - 2013
Aug ?? - mailed I-130 packages for both mother and father
Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png

Tom, our case was not the norm, it was our 2nd petition for one thing, we withdrew our first, so they had some questions about why we withdrew our first petition that my fiance had to answer, which that wasn't really the hard part, he is also pakistani, so that was another hurdle we had to overcome, but we did it, and we got our visa, why they were so concerned about my finances I have no clue, but that is what they seemed to focus on, maybe that is what they wanted to test him on, to make sure our relationship was legitimate. But, they really did drill him. Thank you Tom for you kind words, I really appeciate it very much.
