Dear Friends,

We received our NOA2!!! Our petition was approved on September 19,2006! I am very happy!

Now CSC will forward our case to NVC, but how will we know when NVC receive our case? Another thing I wonder is, how will we know when NVC sends our case to the Embassy?

Thanks

 Many Many Congrats to you on your approval

NVC will send you a letter informing you that they have rec'd your case, it has been taking awhile though for CSC to send them lately. One other thing you can do is call them directly, the NVC phone # is listed on the NVC forum. They are very very nice and helpful, it will be a big change from dealing with USCIS. The are open Mon-Fri 7:30am-12am. You need to keep in contact with them in order to find out when they have sent your petition off to the Embassy. They will give you that information over the phone.

Talk to a live operator and give them your NOA1 number. You can e-mail too - they'll take a few days to reply. You can also get the case number. We haven't received (actually, my fiance), a letter saying when they received the case, but saying the date it was sent out to the consulate.
