Out of the last 100 K1 petitions approved by CSC, with dates that go from 08/30/2006 to 09/23/2006, only 3 made it to the NVC... according to the timelines.

You'll find this information here.

Now, out of the last 100 K1 petitions approved by VSC, with dates that go from 07/13/2006 to 09/22/2006, 76 already made it to the NVC.

Or if you want to look at it another way, from 08/30/2006 to 09/23/2006 (period in which the last 100 petitions have been approved by CSC), VSC has only approved 24 petitions... but 17 of them already reached the NVC.

VSC timeline search here!

I think CSC can do better than that!!!!

I think I need to start a new chart for the CSC to NVC times and send it to my Senator that helped me with my petition. If it goes one more week I think I will.

There is no excuse not to send approved petitions to NVC when finished. My buddy who is not at VJ, was approved at VSC in August (2nd-3d week), and left NVC Sept. 7th. Just think how many people are not even with VJ and it really paints a poor service picture for CSC. Even after our petition leaves NVC, we are still looking at a 165 day wait for interview at Guangzhou. What a complete waste of time to our lives and familys. We can fix a problem with the space shuttle in a couple of days, but CSC can't even find the mail box, how sad.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Okay ... had to vent! Are you f*&^%$# kidding me! So when my lawyer "guesstimated" 2 months til' the interview ... he was probably way "mis-guessing!" DAMN! These people are so slow! :crying: What to do, what to do? It is so frustrating! When they send it out to the NVC, does it say on the website? I was hoping the "touch" after our approval meant that it went out, but probably not. Damn, damn, damn!!!!

The strange thing is that if I call NVC automated service it says they have not received anything.

If you have a K1 peition, don't use the automated system, make sure to speak to an operator. To do this, press #1 if you want English, and then #2. This should get you in line to speak to an operator. Sometimes you have to call back a couple times as all the lines are busy, but if you call later in the evening you should be able to get through quite easily.
