GAH!!!!

Sian just told me that the senile notary at my bank wrote that her commission expires in April of 2006 on one of the documents. So now I have to spend another $16.99 to send a new copy of the I-134 Fed-Ex Priority to Sian. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

(Her interview is October 3rd, by the way)

Yes, but it isn't the consulate I'm so concerned about....it's Sian. She's under enough stress with the house sale, leaving her country, friends, and job, etc. without the added stress of wondering whether they're going to deny us for a technicality.

So, I'll go to my OTHER bank tomorrow and have a new I-134 notarized.

Of course, I'm freaking out a bit, too. It's down to two months, maybe 7 weeks, and I don't even have walls in our bedroom yet, let alone getting started on the bedroom downstairs. Anyone wanna come to Indiana for a few days and work on an old house? LOL

Yeah Larry I'd probably do the same.

Hey, it doesn't take much to throw up a wall!! LOL Do any of your technogeek buddies know how to use a hammer?

None of them in this house do......ha

So much for my plan to mail off a new I-134 tomorrow....

The motherboard in my PC just fried. The "Fiance Documents" folder is one of the few that I don't have a copy of on the server. Dumba$$. So, since I don't have an extra computer that uses SATA hard drives laying around, I'm kinda screwed until I can get a new motherboard.

I'm on the laptop now, in case you were wondering.... lol

I have an old Dell sitting behind me that's busily installing all of the ####### that I need on a day-to-day basis. I'll be using it until I can get a new motherboard. (Probably next weekend)
