This is close enough to the truth to make the "I-didn't-inhale" and "I-didn't-have-sex-with-that-woman" Clinton think he can get away with it. But it is far enough away from the truth to be classified as, if not a bold lie, an artless equivocation

First he refused to confirm or deny it. Later he would say only that "when I was young and irresponsible, I was young and irresponsible." Next he said that the issue wasn't relevant. Then he said that he wouldn't address "rumors." Then he said that he could pass a standard security check dating back seven years. Finally, he said that he could've passed the security check in his father's White House -- fifteen years. Though he had to think before specifying whether he could've passed it then or now. Now, no matter what he says, the issue seems destined to dog him until the day he comes clean.

You see no difference between someone lying under oath about shoplifting a pack of gum, to someone who doesn't testify under oath but denies they embezzled millions of dollars? The gravity of the offense should be relevent, no?

pres bush: would love for every man, woman, and child on this great earth to be able to live in freedom, free to pursue their own dreams and desires. we all have our dreams and desires, i'm living mine, but not everybody on earth has that opportunity right now, but pres bush has a plan to spread freedom.

pres clinton: wanted to live his dream of being president. and give us universal healthcare where we could go to jail if we did not go to the doctor the government told us to go to. doesn't sound much like freedom there.
