Hi,

Which one is recommended when you submit your I-864?

Tax Return transcripts for the past three years

OR

Photocopies of last three years efiled federal tax returns along with W-2 and 1099

I just sent both on my RFE, along with a letter from my employer. The way the USCIS is handing out RFEs on supporting documents for the I-864, its better to send more, than less!

I got a RFE for my husband's tax transcript. So at the end, acording to myself, I sent them the photocopy of my sponsor's 2005 W-2, 2005 tax transcript, proof of current employment, and recent pay stuff.

Though the new I-864 relaxed the amount of documentation required... the reviewers HAVE NOT!!! It is best to send anything and everything you can. Its really sad that they seem to constantly change the rules, without any consistancy!
