:dance::dance::dance: We got our interview date for the K-3, October 26th......3 days before our 2nd wedding anniversary :dance::dance::dance: we are still hoping that the case will get completed at NVC and we do the IR-1 interview instead. But for now we will go with the K-3 :dance::dance:

11/23/2004 - Filed N-400 - 03/28/2006 - Interview & Oath in Atlanta GA

03/29/2006 - Mailed I-130 04/06/2006 - NOA1

08/01/2006 - APPROVED

08/11/2006 - Received at NVC case number assigned

08/21/2006 - DS-3032 & I-864 fee Generated 08/22/2006 - Emailed choice of agent

08/25/2006 - Choice of agent accepted 08/28/2006 - IV bill generated

08/29/2006 - Mailed I-864 bill 09/09/2006 - Mailed IV Bill

09/16/2006 - Received I-864/09/18/2006 - Mailed Completed I-864

09/23/2006 - Mailed DS-230/09/28/2006 - Message says information rec at NVC

10/07/2006 - Message says they are sending an RFE 10/18/2006 RFE returned

10/26/2006 - Case Complete

05/21/06 Return to Egypt to visit for 9 wonderful days!

06/06/06 I-130 sent (finally!!)

07/12/06 NOA1

10/02/06 Approved!!!

07/20/06 I129f sent

07/24/06 NOA1

09/27/06 I129f approved!!!!

10/06/06 At NVC and case # assigned. Woohoo!!!

10/10/06 NVC sent K3 documents to Cairo today!!!

10/15/06 K3 documents received at Cairo consulate.

10/29/06 Packet 3 received.

11/01/06 Medical appointment

11/08/06 Medical certificate received

11/10/06 Packet 3 sent by delivery service

11/12/06 Packet received at consulate

02/05/07 Interview Date

02/16/07 10 day trip to Egypt

06/25/07 Home visit by field investigator

01/14/08 Got the email to send in his passport for visa!!!!

01/28/08 VISA IN HAND!!!!!!!!!

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
