Permanent Resident Card Received

Received my card today in the mail - 9 days since interview.

Just a thought though - the card has the same photograph on that my EAD card had - so what do they do with the photos that you have to submit with the application?

Just wondered about that, no big deal just something I wondered about.

Thank you!

The photo on my EAD and also my resident card are the photos that were taken at biometrics appointment and not the ones that were submitted with the forms.

Another of lifes mysteries huh?:lol::lol:

Actually, now you've made me think again. I'm going to have to check my husband's cards when I get home. It's quite possible he was wearing the same shirt both days though!

Your submitted photos probably stay with the file. Biometrics are official ones. And then when they look at you, biometrics photo, and submitted ones, I'm guessing that any rational govt goon should be able to figure out that it really is YOU.
