EAD Approved

I received my EAD approval today (this evening)! I was starting to think they forgot about me since a month had passed and my case hadn't even been touched.

Two questions I'm hoping you can help me with:

1. Does anyone know how long on average it usually takes to receive the card? (I'm sure it's different for everyone - just trying to get an idea as to when I should/can expect it)

AND

2. Can I start applying for jobs now or should I wait for the card to arrive?

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks VJ Members

I was able to figure out question 1 by looking at others timelines so I do not need a response for that one.

I can't answer the question about when you will receive your card because at the time I applied, I got my card at the District office the day of the EAD interview.

But, yes, you can start applying for jobs now, you just have to tell potential employers that you are waiting for the EAD card to arrive in the mail.
