A list of name changes would be helpful when looking to PM certain members who have since changed their display names.

I like to know why people feel it's necessary to change their screen name. It could be random numbers and/or letters and it wouldn't work any less than some supposedly witty name you think up.

Don't you already need to know the person's new name to do that though? You can't look people up by their former name.

hmmm. I don;t have that...! Enabling this feature was just a a matter of convenience for me not to have to change screen names for people. Maybe I should limit it to members here less than xx days...

That's great if one wants to find a current poster's past name.

Gupt knows the past name and is looking for the present name.

I just ran a database query to generate a list of all old-->new names:

That list can't be complete. I don't see Agent Smith --> Gupt in there.
