Hi,

Has anybody here submitted an I-130 at the Vancouver Consulate in the past few months? We submitted ours on June 30th and at the time we were told that we would be receiving a letter from the Montreal consulate within 2 to 3 weeks and if we didn't get this letter on time we should email the consulate. We didn't receive it so we emailed them and they said our package was received July 20th, and to be patient. So now it's been 6 weeks and no letter (is this the NOA1?). Is this normal? I'm starting to get worried and wondered it anyone else was having a similar experience.

Look forward to hearing from anyone!!

Sounds about normal for Montreal. Horribly backlogged and the only consul in Canada that does spousal visas. They are really horrible at responding to emails too.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Well, Packet 3 arrived today!!! Very excited!! So for anybody else going through Vancouver, it was about 8 weeks from the time we submitted. 5 to 6 weeks longer then what the Consulate estimated.

Not true. Vancouver does not do spousal visas only Montreal does.
