I am in a worried state right now as USCIS Approved my petition on July 8th. I have call NVC each week until now Aug. 5th. USCIS saying they have sent my approved petition to manila embassy. NVC has not record of my petition in there system. I called today NVC and the operator stated that in some case USCIS will forward the case straight to Manila Consulate. I need some advise, help and direction on this issue.

Hello,

So I take it that you haven't been issued a NVC number yet? You should call NVC late Tonight or early Monday to see if they have received your petition because it takes about a month. Most people I've talked to had their petition approved the same week as me had their petition forwarded and NVC didn't see it in their systems until a month later. Mine was approved on June 16th and went into NVC's system on July 15th. If they say they have forwarded to the Manila Consulate I would give it another 2 or 3 weeks. My case was forwarded to the New Delhi embassy on July 18th, and we still haven't heard anything. Another option is to go ahead and e-mail the Manila consulate and inquire about your case, I believe you need your contact #, passport #'s, case #, and names of beneficiary and petitioner. So don't worry, I'm sure everything will be up and going in another couple of weeks.

Have you called DOS? They should be able to track it with the USCIS receipt number.

Cheme,

I was having the same issue with USCIS. I received my NOA2 on 7/18 and it stated that my I-129F was forwarded to the consulate. I emailed the consulate and was told all petition has to go thru NVC. I called NVC and was told that some petition goes straight to the consulate. However, I kept calling until yesterday I was told it was received and forwarded to the consulate. I was given a case number and I emailed the consulate again and they told me that they did receive an electronic copy of my petition and is waiting on the hard copy.

I will suggest that you keep calling NVC.

Method of delivery from USCIS to NVC is turtle, Vermont to New Hampshire, it takes some time say a month to reach NVC. There is no such thing "sent to consulate directly". Everything has to go thru DOS which regulates NVC so keep calling and make sure you get your case number as that would be required further on to communicate with consulate.

Good Luck!

There has been a delay of assigning case #'s at NVC, especially for approved petitions coming from CSC. They are averaging 30 days. Just keep calling them everyday for your case #. Ours took 33 days. Be patient, you get it soonest!

Contrary to what you've been told, all approved petitions goes through NVC as NVC is the entity that assigns the case #.

Thank you to everyone who has replied to help me.. Thank you so much!!! But still NVC and USCIS are clueless about my Approved K-1 Visa Package. USCIS said they have approved the I129-F and sent off to NVC but it could take up to 90 days!!!! before NVC receives my package.

NVC said they do not have my case on record and did not receive the package from USCIS. They ask me every time to read whats on the NOA2. They then say well we don't have it and it has just been approved (July 8th 2011) so i need to wait. It could take up to 90 days to process.

Please, is anybody else going through this and what steps did you take while waiting for USCIS and NVC process this package.

Its just mentally discourage to read of so many other receiving there case numbers in days while 30 DAYS!! has past since being approved and nothing but shucking a jiving from NVC and USCIS..

More advise and help is always appreciated.

I hear your frustration! That is SOP from USCIS and NVC. There is no rhyme or reason why some get it faster than others. The only advise I can give you

is more patience. You will get there like everyone else. If it makes you feel any better, once, you have the case #, you can literally do the process as fast

as you want to. We got our case # on Jul 27, paid the visa fee Jul 28, scheduled an interview appointment online Jul 29 for Aug 16, Patty did her medical

Aug 1. I will be leaving Aug 14 to be with her on the interview and bring her back to SFO with me Sep 2. Hang in there! Your turn is coming!

Enjoy of my venting.

Wally. We had our 129 f approved and it said it was sent to the lsited consulate. Of course, there was NO listed consulate!

So, I called the NVC and when asked for my birthday, I was told that is NOT my birthday!!!! This means the Vermont Service Center screwed up on somewthing as simple as a birthdate! Now, after emialing birth certificate and passsport, i am told it will take up to a month to reveiw it! Vermons Center SUCKS!

And they will not give me any information because icnat comfirm my birthdate! So, I have to wait! and then i have to check everything to make sure there are no more errors. good luck...todd
