no matter if u fill out the paper work yourself and send it in or fill out the paper work yourself and attorney or visa specialist sends it off nothing can help get it done faster......once its in the service center it is up to the service center to approve or deny it or ask for more evidence

if you have a complicated case use an ATTORNEY

just my opinion

I've noticed these "k-1" help sites and many attorneys do more harm than good. Only a select few are very good when it comes to immigration and they should only (in my opinion) be used if you have a complicated case such as an overstay, criminal background/issues etc.

From the posts I've read here on VJ, attorneys and these sites tend to not include paper work or give out false information that hurts the petitioner rather then helping.

All they do is fill out the paperwork...which anyone should be able to do...

This site is far more helpful than paying some of these people ridiculous amounts of money. And it's free. And lots of people have gone through the process of getting it done. :)

I used a Fiancee VISA service the caters to Filipina fiancee beneficiaries. They were and still are a great help and I got more than my monies worth. They never game me conflicting information or their opinions but just facts based on the latest data from USCIS. They did not do my paper work. They gave me explicit and easy to read and understand instructions and help via phone and e-mail. I did the paper work and sent it to them for review and they sent it to the appropriate destination. I made a few mistakes - left sone things out on some of the docs and they found and corrected them for me and told me about them prior to sending the package out. That alone was worth the fee - to me. I did not get an RFE. I'm not saying I couldn't have done it without them. Because some years ago I did all the work myself petitioning for my then Filipina wife and her young son and we had some complications - and I pulled that off. But I wanted more piece of mind this time and I got that with this agency.

This time I had some difficulties timewise with a nasty divorce and child custody battle and some other health things and so forth, so I had to wait quite some time before I could actually file my I-129f - I mean like it was a year after I paid the service. I had started paper work then stopped and by the time I was ready most of the docs had expired. They stood by me and waited and updated everything for me and when I had questions or got stuck (cuz the whole thing still confused me some even with the instructions) they always helped me out.

I'm not suggesting people use agencies, but I'm not knocking them either. Individuals can and will do what they want. Just like everything else, there are good agencies out there and bad ones. I researched mine via BBB. I agree - complicated cases need immigration attorneys.

Just wanted to let you know they aren't all bad and some people do actually benefit from them.

I am not at all against using a service or attorney and in fact we used a Gentleman in Nanning that came highly recommended and he was a big help throughout the process, but I will say no matter who you use, do not let them control the process. You need to control it and everything and anything that is mailed needs to be done so by you so you can be 100% sure what is in the package.

As far as easyfiance.com, A quick look at their site shows "a K3 Visa for China". Sorry, but any site that is still advertising for K-3 visas is either incompetent or so sadly out of date on current visas and standards that I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.

When I first was starting the visa process I looked at some of those "helper" sites, but just looking at the sites I couldn't bring myself to actually trust them at face value. VJ is easily the most helpful resource I found and made doing it myself a piece of cake.

I used this visa website and they will square you away and make sure your squared away before you are shipped out. people only use lawyers when they have a lot of negatives agains them, age gap... only knowing them for a short time or they have a lot of money to spend for no reasons like most lawyers firms that wll charge you 2k-5k and I think the lawyer firms are more dodge than the visa websites.. at least the visa websites are honest.. to the firm to get it done.
