Hi everybody, I just wanted to know: How long does it take to get the NOA1?.
I sent my packet via express. to the PO Box address. I just saw today that it wwas received and signed (USPS website). I just wanted to have an idea of when we will receive our NOA1? Whats the process??.. Somebody will then send our document to Vermont and then Vermont will send a NOA1? Or the NOA 1 comes from USCIS Dallas?
Thank you. Please take the time to answer if you can..

Wow, your question couldn't be better timed. I just get our NOA1 electronically today. I am in the Navy in Djibouti Africa and mailed out the complete K1 package on June 03, it was delivered June 12, and NOA1 received June 16. So basically it took 2 weeks for me, but only 4 days from date of Receipt. :D. Here is exactly what was sent to me in my email-

Dear Applicant/Petitioner:

Your USCIS application/petition has been received and routed to the California Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number WAC1190474761. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your application using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your application/petition. This notice does NOT grant any immigration status or benefit. You MAY NOT present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does NOT constitute evidence that your application remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your application/petition must be verified with USCIS.
