Check and see if USCIS has cashed your check?

If it did....

1 - You can call USCIS and talk to live person

2 - You can make an appt with USCIS and get stamp on your passport.

I need help truly understanding the process for removing conditions on my two step daughters. Everything you read is about removing conditions based off of a marriage. My step daughters came 3 years after my husband came and they are only 9 and 7 years old. Is there detailed informtaion somewhere that talks just about removing the conditions for children that came alone not with a parent?

So my question is can I just file one I-751 form for them together?

What type of evidence do I need to send with this and I am guessing that I still want to file 90 days before the exp date?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance,

Hello All,

You guys have been extremely helpful so far. So I was just getting myself familiar to the process of I-751.

Our 90-day window opens up on Dec 9th, 2013.

Here is the question I have: We have moved to our own home 8 months after my husband arrived to the States. So do we have to submit a "Change of Address" form or something? If so, where do I find the form and when do I send it? Or we can just go ahead and apply with this new address?

Thanks in advance.

Maya,

The change of address form is AR-11. You can submit it online. It is free. We also had to do that. I actually printed my submitted form as proof that we submitted. We provided it as evidence when we submitted for ROC.

I have just a quick question about roc requirements. We have bank joint account, and bank loan, but our bank statement goes to the p.o box of my husband. would that be a problem? Now we still live the same address but I have moved for a while in a different state thats where i got me a decent job, but i go home practically every weekend. But because of this ROC i had to give up my job and move back home again. Would that cause a problem to my roc process?

  1. Address showing a PO Box should not be an issue but explain it in you covering letter - both names should show up in the statements - include 1 full statement per quarter.
  2. The intent is that your marriage is genuine. We all have to work to make a living and sometimes we have to work in another place. Yes this could be a red flag and may get you to an interview but as long as the marriage is genuine, interview should be a cake walk - you need to know each other well.

USA

Thats the problem, I submitted all the requirements but i did not put any explaination on the cover letter. I did it the way i did my aos. Bank statements were all addressed to my husbands p.o. box.

How important is the explanation in the cover letter?

Thanks!

You have two options.

  1. Just wait. If approved rejoice else if a RFE is issued, then submit what is asked for in the letter with a explanation letter.
  2. Send an explanation letter now with a copy of NOA - you can include any additional evidence that you may have now.
